Press

BookTrendSpy follows the Apple Books top 100 charts in 34 countries every day and shows which books chart in the most places at once. Journalists, researchers and fans are welcome to quote it.

What the numbers mean

The World Book Index gives a book points for its position in every country where it charts: a #1 earns one point, a #100 earns 0.01, and the points are added up. Regional editions of the same book count once. Chart positions are Apple Books positions, not sales, and Apple Books is one store among several. Collection began on 21 October 2026. The full method is on the About page.
